About Us

A.C.C.E.S.S. Academy was founded on the belief that every student has the ability to be successful.

​The mission of A.C.C.E.S.S. ACADEMY INC. is to assist individuals with disabilities build life skills that will allow for optimal independence and participation within our community. Life skills and job training will be provided through an adapted career centered education while enhancing self-sufficiency in students with disabilities. We believe that the collective efforts of school, home, and the community at large can continue to celebrate the diversity of all students; promote development academically, socially, and physically.

A.C.C.E.S.S. Academy prepares the high school age students for transition into adult life and then we actually transition them into their roles in the community.

We are a two-tiered private program; Private School Transition Program (14-22) and Adult Day Training. We are much more than just “Special Education”, we are “Special Preparation”! We prepare our students for what “is” and what’s to come. Our program is fully adapted. This mean that there is a place for everyone, no one is left out. The only criteria is a diagnosis.

During our Private School Day, students get their core curriculum subjects intertwined into their transition/pre vocational training. Our Adults train hands on with real world industry equipment to progress on to structured, supported or independent employment.

Our curriculum is proven to enhance independence and self sufficiency. Through both programs, the student and the adult are:
