SERVICES

The mission of A.C.C.E.S.S. Academy Inc. is to assist students with disabilities in building life-long skills that will allow for optimal independence and participation within our community. Our services will consist of transition services, adult day training, life skills training, behavior therapy, respite care and more. Our core values are rooted in the belief that access is the key to full community life for children and adults with disabilities – one person at a time.

PERSONAL SUPPORTS

Personal Support and Respite Services are designed to assist individuals with increasing independence both in-home and within their community. Respite Services and Personal Support services can be utilized while the caregiver is working. Staff may work with individuals to improve their independence in multiple skills sets.

Areas of skill development or supervision may include any or all of the following:

• Exercise


• Fine/Gross Motor skills


• Social Skills


• Safety Skills


• Self-help Skills


• Leisure skills
